Summary

The Pediatric Sickle Cell RN Coordinator will assist in the organization and ongoing development of a comprehensive sickle cell program. Working alongside our amazing pediatric hematologists, the RN coordinator will provide the development, coordination and management of the clinical team with the goal to provide high quality patient care. This role is 75% program development/ management and 25% direct patient care/education.

A typical day might include seeing 1-2 patients for education, attending a planning session for upcoming filming of educational video, developing standards of care for patients with Sickle Cell disease, coordinating with the Research Manager to review possible clinical trials, and leading a large multidisciplinary team meeting to include development of agenda items and the creation/distribution of meeting minutes to all participants.
