Minneapolis VA Health Care System (VAHCS) is a teaching hospital providing a full range of patient care services with state-of-the-art technology, as well as education and research. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System (VAHCS) seeks a Physician Assistant for the Hematology/Oncology section of Primary Care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing patient evaluation and treatment as well as patient and family health education, including general information about disease, specific information about tests, possible treatments and treatment benefits, and self-care information. She/he is responsible for acquiring and demonstrating clinical expertise and knowledge of Hematology and Oncology and for engaging in quality assurance projects to ensure sustained quality of care for this high risk population. Work Schedule: Full time, days
