University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our Cancer Care team in Edina and Burnsville, MN. This position will exclusively see hematology and oncology patients in the hospital setting.
Position Highlights:
- Flexibility to be scheduled Monday through Sunday 7days on 7days off, or Monday through Friday 5 days on, with weekend rotations as a part of the Medical Oncology group call rotation.
- Provides consultative services for hematology and oncology patients between Ridges Hospital in Burnsville and Southdale Hospital in Edina.
- Work with our comprehensive Cancer Care teams at each site, with coverage from clinic Hematologists/Oncologists for consult during off weeks and hospitalists admitting.
- You'll find collaborative relationships with our larger group practice of Hematology/Oncology specialists within the academic health system centered at the University of Minnesota.
- Access to tumor boards and clinicals trials through the University of Minnesota.
- Leverage a multi-disciplinary approach with a variety of on-site specialists and ancillary support including RNs, Case Managers, and Pharmacists.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of Hematology and Oncology experience.
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Oncology/Hematology fellowship-training program.
- Board eligible/certified in Hematology and Oncology.
- Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
