This APP position will join the Solid Tumor team in the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.The position is primarily responsible for patient care in the outpatient setting, including satellite locations. Outpatient duties include evaluation of patients in the clinic setting, writing chemotherapy orders for planned chemotherapy cycles, management of outpatient prescriptions and home care orders, performance of bone marrow aspirations and biopsies and lumbar punctures with chemotherapy injection, education of patients and their families on active issues and therapeutic changes, interaction with appropriate consultants, scheduling appropriate follow up for patients and assistance with data monitoring related to the Solid Tumor patient population.
