This position will be in the Section of Hematology Oncology and Bone Marrow transplantation and Cellular Therapy at an Instructor level, working in the clinical service area of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD). The duties are in the Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant inpatient units, working as a nocturnist. These teams care for pediatric and young adult patients with blood disorders and cancers of all types, and patients undergoing BMT for both benign and malignant disorders in the inpatient setting. This position will oversee the care of these patients at night, and on some day shifts for periods when service needs require it.
